UK Court has fixed dates for Poco Lee‘s plea hearing and trial.
Philips News reports that the plea hearing of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, in the United Kingdom is fixed for February 8, 2027, while his trial is scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.
This newspaper understands that Benjamin Kuti, popularly known as Oluomo of Derby, disclosed this after attending court proceedings on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
“I was in court today, as I mentioned in my last tweet, regarding the case involving one of our Nigerian brothers, Poco Lee,” Kuti said.
Meanwhile, PhilipsNews recalls that Kuti confirmed on August 24 Poco Lee was on remand in a UK prison and was expected to appear in court in September for a plea hearing.
The Oluomo of Derby has now said the plea hearing will hold on February 8, 2027, with the trial scheduled to commence on March 8.
Kuti urged the public to allow the legal process to run its course and avoid passing judgment based on allegations or information circulating publicly.
“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and that principle must be respected throughout the entire process,” he said.
