Cristiano Ronaldo has finally lifted the Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr after the club secured a crucial 4-2 victory over Damac on Thursday, which secured the title.
Philips News reports that the Saudi Pro League title battle went down to the final day after Al Nassr dropped vital points against rivals Al Hilal in the previous round, leaving no room for error in their last fixture of the season.
Facing a Damac side desperate to avoid relegation, Jorge Jesus’ men delivered when it mattered most. Ronaldo played a decisive role in the victory, scoring twice to help his team finish ahead of Al Hilal in the race for the crown.
Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane gave Al Nassr the perfect start with the opening goal in the first half. After the break, Kingsley Coman added another before Ronaldo struck twice to wrap up an important win and seal the club’s league triumph.
Meanwhile, beyond helping Al Nassr claim the title, Ronaldo also etched his name further into football history with a remarkable achievement.
According to reports from Spanish outlet Marca, the Portuguese icon has now become the first footballer to win both a league title and a top scorer award in four different countries.
The 41-year-old Portuguese achieved the feat during his successful spells with Manchester United in England, Real Madrid in Spain, Juventus in Italy, and now Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
Following the historic campaign, Ronaldo is expected to shift focus to international duty as he prepares to captain Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which begins next month.
