Arsenal have finally ended 22 years of Pain by being crowned Premier League champions.

Philips News reports that Arsenal were confirmed Premier League champions for the 2025/2026 season following Manchester City’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Tuesday night, May 19, 2026.

This online newspaper understands that Pep Guardiola’s men needed to beat the Cherries to keep the title race alive until the final day.

However, this result means they can no longer catch Arsenal with one game to play each.

Kroupi Junior opened the scoring for Bournemouth with a superb curling effort past Gianluigi Donnarumma. City struggled to convert the few chances they created.

David Brooks missed two chances to double the lead for the hosts before Erling Haaland fired in a late equalizer.

Arsenal officially won the Premier League title on Tuesday for the first time since the 2003-04 season, ending the team’s decades-long wait to win England’s top flight after a dominant campaign.

Meanwhile, PhilipsNews reports that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will now be presented with the trophy during Sunday’s game at Crystal Palace.
