Akmodel MD has urged Tinubu and Makinde to act fast regarding the Ogbomoso school abduction.

Philips News reports that the Managing Director of Akmodel Group, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade, has condemned the reported abduction of schoolchildren in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, describing the incident as a painful reminder of the security challenges facing Nigeria. He said the kidnapping of innocent pupils seeking education should worry all citizens and requires urgent attention from authorities.

In a statement, the Akmodel MD expressed sympathy to the affected families, school authorities, and residents of Ogbomosho, noting that the ordeal has left many in distress and uncertainty. He described the targeting of schoolchildren by criminals as unacceptable and warned that such incidents could undermine public confidence in the safety of schools and communities.

Odegade called on President Bola Tinubu, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, security agencies, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders to intensify efforts toward securing the immediate release of the abducted children. He urged authorities to deploy all available resources and intelligence capabilities to ensure the pupils are rescued safely and reunited with their families as quickly as possible.

The reported abduction of school children in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, is a tragic reminder of the security challenges confronting our nation and an incident that should concern every responsible citizen.

As a father, community leader, and Managing Director of Akmodel Group, I strongly condemn this reprehensible act carried out against innocent children whose only pursuit was education and a brighter future. The targeting of school children by criminals is unacceptable and threatens the confidence of parents, educators, and communities across the country.

I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the affected families who are currently going through unimaginable pain and uncertainty. My thoughts are also with the school authorities and the people of Ogbomosho as they await the safe return of these young pupils.

I respectfully urge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, security agencies, traditional institutions, community leaders, and all relevant stakeholders to intensify collaborative efforts toward securing the immediate release of these children.
